Mikesworld OS began in 1998 with the first OS, MOS 1.0.
It consisted of a few programs and a cheap-looking desktop and ran the
same speed as Windows. It wasn't very good. Then in late 1998,
Mikesworld came out with MOS 2.0, an operating system that could support
Windows applications, which is every OS's dream. The problem was,
it ran in Windows, so it slowed things down.
Then in 1999, Mikesworld came out with MOS 3, an improved
operating system. It included graphical icons and included Mikesworld's
newest program, MSpeed. It ran Windows programs in MOS three times
faster than in Windows, though the OS still ran in Windows. The program
consisted of small and fast code, making it the fastest and easiest OS
to use.
In February of 2000, Mikesworld came out with Mikesworld
OS 5.0, also called MOS 2000. It was improved from MOS 3.0 and 4.0,
such as the new ability to move and run multiple programs. It was
a success. At the time, Mikesworld also came out with V+, the "Virtual
OS". It was rated worse than Mikesworld OS, because it didn't include
MSpeed. Mikesworld decided to give up on V+, and instead make Mikesworld
OS better.
In 2001, Mikesworld came out with Mikesworld OS 2001.
It was a little better than earlier versions, and Mikesworld tried to give
it more of a Windows feel. Today, Mikesworld released Mikesworld
OS 2002.

Mikesworld OS 2002 comes with many excellent programs including:
1. Program Converter
This is a program that allows you to open Windows 98 programs inside
the Mikesworld OS envirnment. (This program has a few bugs.)
2. Calculator
Can't have a computer without one! This Calculator performs
basic tasks. (Addition, Subtraction, etc...)
3. WebOn 4.0
This is an internet browser specially designed for Mikesworld OS.
It has normal web browsing tasks, such as searching and browsing.
4. PicView (New!)
This is a handy little program to view your special pictures with.
5. SearchPlus! (New!)
This is a handy program to search for files on your hard drive.
6. ScreenSaver
This program includes eight screen savers for your viewing pleasure.
